Crayon Impression Activity

Crayon Impression Activity

The crayon impression activity was designed for our participants Nursery and Prep school kids to engage them in a creative and enjoyable art project. The primary objective was to foster creativity and provide a sensory experience through the exploration of crayons and the creation of handprint or footprint impressions.

The activity involved children using crayons to colour over their hands followed by pressing them onto paper to create vibrant and personalized impressions. The materials included non-toxic crayons, coins and leaves to create impressions on sheets/ paper, and a supervised environment to ensure safety.
It proved to be a successful and enjoyable experience for our tiny tots as it not only encouraged creativity and fine motor skills development but also provided a sensory exploration opportunity. The children actively participated in the process, creating unique and personalized impressions that fostered a sense of accomplishment and self-expression. Overall, this activity effectively combined fun and learning for the young participants.
