POETRY SLAM

On 8 April 2025, Jesus Mary Joseph (JMJ) School organized a Poetry Slam Activity for students of Classes VI to VIII, providing a vibrant platform for young learners to showcase their creativity and verbal expression. The event aimed to encourage students to develop their language skills and confidence, while also fostering an appreciation for the power of poetry. Participants presented a wide range of poems, exploring themes such as nature, emotions, social values, and personal reflections. The enthusiastic performances highlighted the students’ ability to express ideas clearly and creatively.
Overall, the event was a great success, reinforcing the importance of language arts in holistic education and encouraging students to use their voices with confidence and purpose.
